The public is invited to the March meeting of Bristol Advanced Motorists when David Douch of Renault UK will be talking to us about the many safety features fitted into modern vehicles.

After serving 7 years with the REME studying mechanical engineering David joined Renault UK in 1971 as a technical instructor going on to be a New Dealer Appointment Specialist.

Amongst his many qualifications he has been involved with equipment & methods engineering, technical panel incident investigation, field investigation engineering specialising in water ingress & fire incidents, vehicle anti-theft investigation and crash reparability and has worked with the police, UK insurance & Renault France.

More recently with Renault he has been involved with UK Homologation engineering spending his final 3 years with Renault as Manager of vehicle anti-theft at the TechnoCentre Paris.
