Wessex Water – Down the Plughole!
The public is invited to the June meeting of Bristol Advanced Motorists when Sue Goodland of Wessex Water will give a talk entitled ‘Down the Plughole’!
Have you ever wondered what happens to the water once you have pulled the plug? Well –Sue will give us an insight into the long journey our waste water takes from the plughole all the way back to the tap!
The talk will cover how our drinking water is cleaned up and also the various environmental issues which abound in the process.
This looks to be an interesting and less than damp evening – and you don’t need to book – just turn up and you’ll be welcome.
Entrance to meetings is FREE and everyone is welcome
Refreshments will be available as usual.
This is an opportunity to mix and mingle and also to find out more about Advanced Driving.
